PROPERTY FOR SALE OR RENT

There a number of Australian property websites that aggregate properties from a range of agents for sale or rental. The three that we are happiest to recommend, based on their breadth of coverage and ease of use, are the following:

www.domain.com.au

www.realestateview.com.au

While the first two sites provide national coverage, the third focuses largely on Victoria, although it is gradually improving its geographic scope.

PROPERTY PRICING INFORMATION

The poor quality of "public" data on real estate sales and pricing has led a number of private companies to fill the void and offer information on property sales down to the suburb and street level. Two of those companies are:

Usefully, both www.homepriceguide.com.au and domain.com.au offer access to the most recent auction results on a suburb by suburb basis.
